We Went to War
a documentary film about three veterans from Central Texas

Join the staff, faculty and students of the University Center for a screening of two films, hosted by the award-winning independent film producer Rebekah Tolley from the United Kingdom.

Friday, March 14th, 2014, 7:00 p.m.

Hill Country University Center, 2818 E. US Highway 290, Fredericksburg

In the courtyard(weather permitting) – Bring a blanket or a lawn chair!

Working with documentarian Michael Grigsby, Tolley produced the feature documentary We Went to War (2013), as a follow-up to Grigsby’s 1970 award-winning film, I Was a Soldier, which focused on three young central Texans who were trying to adjust to life after their service in the Vietnam War. We Went to War catches up with the stories of those same veterans, and has opened to very positive critical reviews internationally. Her presentation will include a free screening of both films, although donations to offset expenses will be much appreciated.
